What a lovely experience! Most beautiful outdoor setting as well as a cozy fireplace corner when it gets cold. The waiters are outstanding and made us feel so welcome, they really paid attention to every detail of our experience. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

The restaurant is located in a good area with a beautiful view and gorgeous scenery. So in that regard, it was good. However, there were a few downs to this establishment. Firstly, the service was slow, and the server was great, but it took a while for us to be recognized. I didn't like that there was no freshly squeezed juice and had to settle for a canned alternative. I also didn't like that drinks were not on the menu that baffled me because we had to wing it and hope for the best. But I must say the play area was a hit for my daughter. She was going crazy and enjoyed herself to the max. The food took quite a while, but everyone at the table was thoroughly pleased with their orders. The burger, pasta and bean burger, and pizzas were great What we also appreciated were the began options as some of the family are vegan and everyone was accommodated. With that said, good location, good food but service and menu can be improved

I did not stay in any rooms and thus I can not rate the rooms. However, I am sure that the rooms will be top quality as well. I am a visitor to the White River Area but fell in love with it when I was a student outside White River. An excellent menu with delicious food and fast service. Beautiful view, peace and quiet.

Loose Mongoose is my favourite hang out in the Lowveld, when visiting the area. Good food, great vibe and excellent service.Q and team are awesome.

I ate here with a friend and the waters were all so friendly and accommodating even when we sat outside in the cold they had no problem and when we moved in to the fireplace area, again they were so friendly and helpfull... I had an Eisbein, it fell of the bone so soft and juicy, it was great...
